Hi, I’m Walid—a curious explorer and a creative problem-solver. My journey began in Morocco, where I grew up watching travel documentaries with my father and playing MMORPGs with people from around the world. These experiences sparked my love for different cultures and a deep desire to explore beyond borders.
Determined to study abroad, I set my sights on France. In 2016, fresh out of high school, I packed my bags and took the leap. Living on my own at a young age shaped my independence and made me adaptable. I embraced French culture wholeheartedly and became a true bon vivant.
Academically, my path was anything but linear. I explored business administration, international business, purchasing, logistics, and eventually, data management. My early experience in sales initially steered me toward purchasing, where my people skills proved valuable. However, something was missing. My passion for tech and problem-solving led me to pivot toward data management—a field where I could blend analytical thinking with creativity.
That shift led me to a two-year apprenticeship as a Logistics Data Analyst at SUEZ France. Working alongside passionate professionals, I had the freedom to experiment, optimize processes, and bring ideas to life. It confirmed what I now know for sure—I thrive in data-driven environments where I can transform raw information into actionable insights.
Today, I specialize in optimizing operations, uncovering hidden efficiencies, and solving complex challenges through data. Whether it’s streamlining workflows, developing dashboards, or building smart solutions, I love turning data into impact.
